Head of Learning, Cultural Development & Engagement

About the role

The Head of Learning, Cultural Development & Engagement will shape and execute a comprehensive learning, culture and employee engagement strategy across all functions. This senior role is essential for fostering a continuous‑learning environment, reinforcing organisational values and driving productivity to support the company’s market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a holistic Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives, including onboarding, soft‑skill, functional, and leadership programs.
• Conduct training needs assessments with department heads and design relevant curricula.
• Organise and deliver in‑person, virtual and on‑the‑job training sessions, while managing LMS platforms and other digital learning tools.
• Track training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and performance metrics, ensuring consistency across departments.
• Plan, budget and roll out corporate culture initiatives that promote core values and a positive work environment.
• Design employee engagement programmes, measure outcomes and continuously refine them.
• Build and lead a team of internal trainers or external facilitators and manage the department’s budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Culture or Employee Engagement, preferably with office‑based staff.
• Proven experience at a department‑head or managerial level, with a track record of leading teams.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Strategic mindset capable of translating business needs into learning and culture solutions.
