Head of Marketplace

About the role

The Head of Marketplace will lead the strategy, execution and optimisation of our marketplace platform. You will shape the user experience, drive revenue growth and align marketplace initiatives with overall business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market research to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Analyse competitor activity and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and implement marketplace strategies that boost user engagement and revenue.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure marketplace initiatives support business objectives.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to stakeholders.
• Identify pain points in the user journey and propose solutions to improve satisfaction.
• Work with product teams to launch features that enhance the marketplace experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, negotiating agreements to optimise offerings.
• Plan, execute and monitor marketing campaigns promoting marketplace initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketplace management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
