HR Generalist West Africa

About the role

Based in Abidjan, you will provide end‑to‑end HR support for Ivory Coast, Côte d’Ivoire West Africa, Cameroon and Nigeria, covering roughly 50 employees. You will work closely with local managers and regional HR leaders to ensure compliant, people‑focused HR practices while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring compliance with local legislation and alignment with Group HR policies.
• Coordinate payroll and HR administration to maintain accurate employee records and timely processing of transactions.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and integration of new hires.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle: contracts, probation reviews, employment changes, disciplinary actions and off‑boarding.
• Advise managers and employees on employee‑relations matters and provide practical HR guidance.
• Support performance management, talent development, salary reviews and learning initiatives across the region.
• Maintain reliable HR data, reporting and continuously improve HR processes and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of core HR processes: recruitment, payroll coordination, employee administration, performance management, employee relations and compliance.
• Hands‑on, structured and detail‑oriented approach.
