HR Supervisor

About the role

The HR Supervisor will provide operational HR support, partnering with production leaders to manage employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and employee engagement. He/she will ensure effective HR service delivery, supports a productive and safe workplace, and contributes to the overall performance and effectiveness of the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team to ensure effective service delivery.
• Set performance objectives and monitor team productivity and results.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and operational efficiency.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
• Support workforce planning, employee development, and career progression initiatives.
• Review and validate payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Monitor attendance and timekeeping records for payroll purposes.
• Manage contractor and temporary workforce administration and compliance.
• Support organizational change and workforce transformation initiatives.
• Manage employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary cases.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or Social Sciences.
• 3–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, mining, FMCG or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor laws and industrial relations.
• Proven experience managing a large blue‑collar workforce.
• Proficiency in recruitment, performance management and HR systems.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
