HSE Coordinator (Abidjan)

About the role

Eni is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of its Health, Safety and Environment Integrated Management System (IMS) at the Côte d'Ivoire site. The role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements and fostering a strong HSE culture among all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and disseminate company HSE policies and keep the legal requirements register up to date.
• Conduct risk assessments using company tools and procedures.
• Collect, analyse, consolidate and validate HSE key performance indicators.
• Support contract management processes and ensure HSE clauses are adhered to.
• Deliver HSE awareness and sensitisation activities for employees and contractors.
• Perform regular site visits, inspections and ensure proper PPE and safe‑driving practices.
• Participate in incident reporting, investigation of near‑misses, accidents and unsafe acts.
• Assist in emergency management, including the planning and execution of drills.
• Drive HSE initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and cultural change.

Required profile

• Significant experience in HSE Integrated Management Systems.
• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Solid knowledge of HSE management standards and procedures.
• Relevant HSE training and certifications preferred (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
