Logistic Manager – Emergency Pool

About the role

The Emergency Pool Logistic Manager supports MSF emergency interventions by ensuring technical and logistical feasibility of operations, defining logistics strategies and providing surge support to missions in volatile contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Define intervention objectives and logistics strategy, ensuring technical and logistical feasibility of emergency operations.
• Supervise logistics and technical activities, manage supply chain in collaboration with supply teams, and guarantee compliance with MSF policies and quality standards.
• Recruit, train, evaluate and lead logistics staff, providing surge support during emergencies or peak workload periods.
• Oversee logistics resources, infrastructure, telecommunications, and produce regular activity reports.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; technical or logistics training considered an asset.
• At least 2 years of MSF logistics management experience in emergency or volatile security contexts.
• Strong team management, leadership, analytical, decision‑making and stress‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in multicultural, multidisciplinary environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working proficiency in English and French.
