Marketing Manager – Drive Growth for GSM in Côte d'Ivoire

About the role

GSM – Green SM is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead its brand and growth strategy in Côte d'Ivoire. You will be responsible for building a trusted brand, acquiring riders and drivers, and positioning GSM as the leading sustainable mobility platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a local marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Build brand awareness through integrated online and offline campaigns.
• Localize global campaigns and creative assets to match local consumer insights.
• Lead PR, media relations, partnerships, sponsorships and community engagement.
• Drive rider acquisition, activation, retention and re‑activation using data‑driven initiatives.
• Lead driver recruitment and engagement campaigns to ensure supply growth.
• Manage CRM, lifecycle marketing, referral programs and promotional campaigns.
• Oversee digital marketing on Meta, Google, TikTok and other relevant channels.
• Optimize budgets and KPIs such as CAC, LTV, conversion, retention and ROI.
• Build and lead a high‑performing local marketing team and collaborate with Operations, Product, Commercial and Global Growth teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing, growth or brand roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Experience in ride‑hailing, mobility, marketplaces, delivery or fintech is highly preferred.
• Proven success launching or scaling products in emerging markets.
• Fluent in English and French; additional local languages are an advantage.
