Mécanicien industriel – Maintenance machines plasturgie

About the role

We are looking for an experienced industrial mechanic to maintain and repair plastic production equipment in our Abidjan workshop. The role involves ensuring continuous operation of extruders, mixers and injection molding machines through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines such as extruders, plastic mixers and injection molding presses.
• Diagnose mechanical failures quickly to minimise production downtime.
• Repair and service gear reducers, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Carry out mechanical adjustments including drilling, tapping and boring of parts.
• Execute simple machining tasks, assemble and disassemble equipment, and restore worn components.
• Conduct lubrication, oil changes and replace wear parts according to maintenance schedules.
• Complete intervention sheets, fault reports and maintenance logs for each machine.
• Assist in planning and following preventive maintenance schedules and manage spare‑part inventories.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (BTS/DUT) in industrial mechanics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Strong knowledge of gear reducers, pumps and mechanical transmission systems.
• Proficiency with industrial hydraulic and pneumatic networks.
• Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and prioritize urgent breakdowns.
