Production Patroller / Field Operator

About the role

The Production Patroller (Field Operator) works under the supervision of the control room to monitor, inspect and operate production installations on the plant floor. The role ensures safe, continuous and efficient operation of equipment in a cement manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspection rounds, checking parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, flow and vibrations.
• Execute operational maneuvers requested by the control room, including start‑up, shutdown and equipment isolation.
• Monitor and control conveyors, elevators, crushers, fans, filters and silos.
• Participate in preventive inspections, lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures and first‑level maintenance tasks.
• Strictly follow HSE procedures and report any hazardous situation.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (BEP, BAC, BTS or DUT) in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in cement plants or continuous‑process industries (mining, metallurgy, energy, chemicals, heavy industry).
• Good knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and associated equipment (crushing, grinding, kiln, bagging).
• High safety awareness, vigilance, teamwork, rigor and responsiveness.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
