Project Manager – Construction & Engineering

About the role

SEG Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction and engineering projects in Abidjan. The role involves overseeing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor project timelines, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage expediting activities to guarantee timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Oversee inspection processes and logistics management for transportation and supply chain.
• Utilize proprietary project management platforms and AI tools to enhance project efficiency.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Construction Management or related field also acceptable).
• Proven track record on mixed‑use residential and commercial developments.
• Fluent in French (written and spoken) and proficient in English.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with proprietary in‑house project management platforms.
• Experience using AI tools and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of expediting and inspection processes.
• Logistics management expertise.
