Retail System Operations Specialist

About the role

The Retail System Operations Specialist will ensure that store teams across the region can effectively use the core retail management system. You will act as the bridge between headquarters, regional supervisors, and frontline stores, delivering training, troubleshooting issues, and driving system adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site system training for store managers and sales clerks after receiving guidance from headquarters.
• Respond to daily system issues, meeting defined response times for P0‑P3 severity levels.
• Collect functional improvement suggestions and operational feedback from stores and report them to regional leaders.
• Monitor system feature activation across all locations and provide targeted re‑training where needed.
• Support go‑live cut‑over activities, including inventory checks, data migration, downtime coordination, and first‑day operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT system operation, technical support, or retail operations (fresh graduates with strong learning ability are also considered).
• Good English communication skills; bilingual English/French is a plus for West African markets.
