Senior Accountant

About the role

You will ensure the integrity of financial information and deliver accurate reports for Agility Logistics Parks in Côte d'Ivoire. The role supports budgeting, compliance, and provides financial insights for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger postings, and reconciliations using SAGE.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and sub‑ledger records and prepare monthly management reports such as balance‑sheet reconciliations and aging reports.
• Manage accounts payable, coordinate VAT refunds, and handle tax compliance (corporate income tax, property tax, VAT, withholding taxes).
• Prepare financial statements under local GAAP, register loan agreements, and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (master’s or CPA/ACCA a plus).
• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, real estate, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, and familiarity with local tax regulations.
• Fluent in English and French, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Oracle financial systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of IFRS and local tax laws.
