Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will support NEEMBA Group by evaluating and strengthening its internal control framework. Working closely with the Group Internal Audit Manager, the role ensures reliable financial reporting, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual audit plan and execute audit assignments in line with standards and internal policies.
• Review financial statements, operational procedures, and control systems to identify risks, discrepancies, and compliance gaps.
• Provide concrete recommendations to improve controls, optimize costs, and enhance performance.
• Prepare comprehensive audit documentation, including programs, working papers, and clear reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and report on progress through performance indicators.
• Collaborate with operational managers to implement corrective actions and share best practices across the Group.
• Supervise junior auditors and contribute to their technical development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audit, Finance, Accounting, Management Control or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or an audit firm.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in professional English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using audit and data analysis tools.
