Social Media Manager – Local Market Focus

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence in Côte d’Ivoire. The role will shape strategy, create engaging content, and drive community growth for our consumer electronics brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly social media calendars aligned with brand priorities, product launches and local campaigns.
• Monitor local trends, competitor activity and platform dynamics to provide actionable insights.
• Plan and execute localized content, including campaign assets, product storytelling and engagement‑driven posts.
• Collaborate with design, video, PR and sales teams to ensure integrated campaigns and brand consistency.
• Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth and content effectiveness, and recommend optimisations.
• Support the brand’s online voice, tone and creative direction to resonate with the local audience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Media or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management or content marketing.
• Fluent French; English is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to turn insights into content strategies.
• Familiarity with the Côte d’Ivoire market and consumer preferences.
• Experience in fast‑moving consumer brands, preferably in electronics or accessories.
