Talent Acquisition & HR Development Manager

About the role

The Talent Acquisition & HR Development Manager will lead recruitment, onboarding, learning and talent management across Lapaire Group’s operations in ten countries. Reporting to the HR Director, the role oversees two pillars – Talent Acquisition & Onboarding and L&D / Talent Management – while coordinating with Operational Excellence, Support functions and Country Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and optimise recruitment operations for Ops & Support profiles across all markets, ensuring fast, high‑quality hiring.
• Guide recruiters on sourcing strategies, talent pipeline building and employer branding in partnership with Communications.
• Maintain and improve usage of the applicant tracking system (ATS) and drive the Group’s standard onboarding framework.
• Lead performance review cycles via HRIS, support managers with performance improvement plans and coordinate job‑specific training paths with L&D leads.
• Collect training needs, manage internal mobility, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives such as eNPS surveys.
• Coach and support a team of recruiters and HR Development Assistants, tracking metrics like time‑to‑hire, retention and training progress.
• Structure HR processes to enable scaling from 10 to 20 countries and ensure seamless coordination between Francophone and Anglophone teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 6–8 years of HR experience with solid practice in recruitment, onboarding and L&D, including 2–3 years leading an HR team.
• Proven experience in a multi‑site, fast‑growing international environment (Retail, FMCG, Distribution or Services).
• Full professional fluency in English and French (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Strong command of ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms.
• Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) tools.
• Experience using LMS (Learning Management System) solutions.
• Advanced use of Google Suite for collaboration and reporting.
