Team Lead, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

About the role

The Rainforest Alliance is launching an industry‑led initiative to strengthen the resilience of the cocoa supply chain in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. We are seeking a Team Lead, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) to drive the design, implementation and daily management of MEL activities across the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the creation and tracking of MEL workplans, timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee field data collection, including enumerator coordination, survey rollout and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data collection follows established protocols and quality standards.
• Support data cleaning, validation and preparation in partnership with data teams.
• Prepare regular MEL reports, dashboards and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of MEL processes, tools and outputs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (technical, finance, regional) and external partners to align on data collection processes and timelines.
• Provide operational support for meetings, workshops and dissemination of MEL findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading MEL activities in large‑scale agricultural or environmental programmes.
• Strong understanding of field data collection methods and quality assurance.
• Excellent coordination skills with ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with MEL workplan development and monitoring.
• Knowledge of survey design, enumerator management and data validation.
• Ability to produce clear analytical reports, dashboards and presentations.
