Technicien électromécanique automobile – maintenance véhicules lourds

About the role

The company is expanding its maintenance workshop and seeks an experienced Automotive Electromechanical Technician. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of a fleet of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and forklift trucks, to ensure their availability, reliability, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy trucks, tractors, and forklift trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic failures.
• Carry out first‑level repairs on braking, steering, clutch, and electrical systems (batteries, starters, lights, etc.).
• Maintain hydraulic and lifting systems of forklifts.
• Conduct oil changes, greasing, replace wear parts, and complete mandatory periodic inspections.
• Complete intervention sheets, work orders, and maintenance logs for each vehicle or equipment.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (BT/BTS) in electromechanics, automotive vehicle maintenance, heavy‑vehicle mechanics, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with heavy vehicles or material‑handling equipment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial vehicle electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards applicable to heavy‑vehicle maintenance.
• Rigorous, autonomous, organized, and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Automotive electrical systems (wiring, sensors, batteries, starters, lighting).
• Diesel engine mechanics and transmission systems.
• Brake and steering system maintenance.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems for lifting and handling equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandatory.
