Accountant – Administration & Finance (Côte d’Ivoire)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our Administration, Finance & Control (AFC) Department and support the financial operations of a project in Côte d’Ivoire. Reporting to the AFC Coordinator, you will manage accounts payable, treasury activities, accounting records, tax compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring adherence to SYSCOHADA/OHADA standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Manage accounts payable, prepare payments, and reconcile supplier statements.
• Conduct treasury operations, including bank reconciliations and cash monitoring.
• Prepare monthly and annual closing entries and financial statements.
• Assist with tax declarations, statutory reporting, and audit support.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, banks, auditors, and governmental authorities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a multicultural, project‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
• Experience in Treasury operations, including bank reconciliations and payment preparation.
• Understanding of OHADA/SYSCOHADA accounting standards and Ivorian tax regulations.
