Administration & Finance Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join the Administration, Finance & Control department and support the financial operations of a project in Côte d’Ivoire. Reporting to the AFC Coordinator, the role combines accounts payable, treasury, tax compliance and financial reporting responsibilities while adhering to SYSCOHADA/OHADA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, process payments and maintain supplier relationships.
• Conduct treasury activities including bank reconciliations, cash monitoring and payment preparation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure tax compliance with Ivorian regulations and support tax declarations.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, clients and governmental authorities as needed.
• Assist in monthly and year‑end closing, audit support and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural, project‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Accounts Payable processes.
• Treasury operations and bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge of OHADA/SYSCOHADA accounting standards.
• Understanding of Ivorian tax regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
