Assistant HSE

About the role

The Assistant HSE will support the HSE Manager in implementing and maintaining the health, safety and environment management system for a rubber development company operating in the agro‑food sector. This position ensures compliance with safety regulations and promotes a safe working environment for personnel and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and deploying the HSE management system.
• Contribute to the annual EHS planning process.
• Monitor safety trends and maintain vigilance on safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and standards.
• Protect the safety of people and company assets.
• Support investigations of accidents and incidents.
• Manage personal protective equipment inventory and distribution.

Required profile

• Education in Quality, Hygiene, Environment or Safety (BAC+2 or BAC+3).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, analytical ability, and discretion.
• Ability to work under pressure, synthesize information, and maintain rigor and discipline.
