About the role
The Assistant HSE will support the HSE Manager in implementing and maintaining the health, safety and environment management system for a rubber development company operating in the agro‑food sector. This position ensures compliance with safety regulations and promotes a safe working environment for personnel and assets.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and deploying the HSE management system.
- Contribute to the annual EHS planning process.
- Monitor safety trends and maintain vigilance on safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and standards.
- Protect the safety of people and company assets.
- Support investigations of accidents and incidents.
- Manage personal protective equipment inventory and distribution.
Required profile
- Education in Quality, Hygiene, Environment or Safety (BAC+2 or BAC+3).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, analytical ability, and discretion.
- Ability to work under pressure, synthesize information, and maintain rigor and discipline.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
