Assistant IT Intern

About the role

The Assistant IT Intern will support the CEO in driving Lapaire’s commercial growth by handling software maintenance, data analysis and reporting. Based in Abidjan, the role offers exposure to a fast‑growing pan‑African optical retail group.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage user accounts, agencies and country settings in CRM and POS systems.
• Update software configurations to align with business evolution.
• Maintain and refresh existing analyses and reports, providing observations.
• Monitor compliance with procedures and flag violations.
• Reconcile and correct data across different software platforms.
• Assist in implementing tracking tools and follow up on commercial and marketing actions.
• Support integration of new software solutions, including AI‑based tools.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac+2 in Business Management, Finance or Computer Science.
• At least one year of relevant experience (including internships).
• Strong analytical mindset and organized work style.
• Ability to adapt quickly, work under pressure and stay motivated.
• Passion for helping others and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with CRM and POS software.
• Familiarity with AI software tools (as used for business analytics).
