Associate Banker – Natural Resources

About the role

The Associate Banker will join the Regional Operations (RO) team in Abidjan, focusing on natural‑resources investments in Côte d’Ivoire. Working under the guidance of an operation leader, the role covers the full project cycle from origination to monitoring, with an emphasis on mining, metals, and low‑carbon circular‑economy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to project structuring and execution, coordinating with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Lead due‑diligence activities, covering financial, market, integrity and policy compliance.
• Prepare internal documentation such as project memoranda, financial models, term sheets and presentations.
• Design and process technical co‑operation assistance in line with project timelines.
• Monitor implementation, track value creation and report on portfolio performance.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Interest in natural‑resources sectors, including mining, metals and low‑carbon investments.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
