Branch Director / Operations Manager

About the role

Green GSM is seeking a Branch Director / Operations Manager to lead depot operations in Ivory Coast, driving operational excellence and building strong driver communities across multiple cities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop manpower plans, oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of depot staff.
• Prepare and monitor depot budgets, manage cash flow, and oversee driver receivables.
• Implement compliance with company processes, conduct audits and propose improvements.
• Manage vehicle intake, maintenance, deployment, and coordinate with sales to support business activities.
• Control advance payments, reimbursements, expense settlements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive operational performance metrics such as GMV, vehicle downtime, and attrition rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Transportation or related fields.
• 5-7 years in a management role within transportation, logistics or service operations.
• Strong understanding of transportation laws, labor regulations, finance and compliance.
• Resilient under pressure, proactive, honest and eager to learn.
• Leadership, decisive problem‑solving and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with relevant technology platforms used in transport operations.
