Building Technician – 2D/3D Plans & Site Supervision

About the role

The Building Technician will work under the supervision of management to create 2D and 3D architectural plans, prepare quantitative and estimate quotes, and oversee the execution of construction projects. The role involves coordinating on‑site teams, ensuring compliance with drawings, timelines, quality standards and safety regulations, and providing regular progress reports.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural plans in 2D and 3D.
• Develop quantitative and estimate quotations for projects.
• Supervise and monitor construction site activities.
• Coordinate and lead field teams.
• Ensure adherence to plans, schedules, quality, and safety standards.
• Report on work progress to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC+2 to BAC+3) in Building, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience creating 2D/3D plans.
• Proven experience in preparing quantitative and estimate quotes.
• Previous experience supervising construction sites and managing teams.
• Strong organizational skills, integrity and reliability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with technical drawing software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit or SketchUp.
