Bus Driver – Angovia

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Bus Driver to operate our Angovia service in Yamoussoukro. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring compliance with company safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle inspection, greasing, cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Operate the bus according to supervisor instructions and record passenger numbers, trips and routes.
• Park the bus at designated stops to allow safe boarding and alighting.
• Attend task‑allocation meetings and complete daily safety checklists.
• Report any equipment anomalies, incidents or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a daily logbook and adhere to punctuality and passenger assistance standards.

Required profile

• Basic primary education (CEPE, CM2) and at least 21 years of age.
• Resident of Yamoussoukro.
• Valid driving licence categories B, C, D and E.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Mandatory training in occupational safety and health, and specific bus‑driver safety procedures.
• Recommended training in environmental best practices, waste management, fire safety and first aid.
