Chargé(e) des Stocks et de la Maintenance

About the role

The Stock and Maintenance Officer is responsible for the overall management, organization, and upkeep of the agency’s material assets, including furniture, décor, sound, lighting, structures, tents, tools, and spare parts. The role ensures that all event equipment is available, functional, clean, repaired when needed, and safely stored.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and optimise warehouse layout, zoning, labeling and RFID/barcode tagging.
• Conduct permanent and periodic inventories of all equipment and consumables.
• Prepare and dispatch material kits for each event and manage re‑conditioning after site returns.
• Supervise stock keepers, maintenance technicians, and handling teams.
• Coordinate with transport, tent, stand and safety officers to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
• Oversee equipment maintenance (electromechanical, carpentry, locksmithing) and safety inspections (fire, hazardous storage, PPE, extinguishers).

Required profile

• Educational level: BAC to BAC+2.
• Experience in stock management, warehouse operations and basic equipment maintenance.
• Ability to lead small teams and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Knowledge of safety standards for event sites and material storage.

Required skills

• RFID and barcode inventory tagging.
• Inventory management systems.
• Electromechanical maintenance.
• Carpentry and locksmithing basics.
• Safety equipment inspection (PPE, fire extinguishers).
