Clinical Psychologist / Counsellor (Remote, Abidjan)

About the role

Intellect, a global mental health tech company, is expanding its EAP provider network in Africa. We are looking for Clinical Psychologists and Counsellors to join our telehealth platform and deliver 60‑minute video sessions that support clients’ mental health and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 telehealth professional or mental health coaching sessions focusing on sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, and work‑life balance.
• Assist clients in setting personal, career, and relationship goals.
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team to suggest improvements to the program and platform.

Required profile

• Master or Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or Counselling.
• At least 300 clinical hours post‑graduation for counsellors.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Prior experience in EAP, adult counselling, or managerial coaching is preferred.

Required skills

• Evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, DBT, or Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Coaching techniques and ability to apply them in a telehealth setting.
