Construction Field Assistant

About the role

The Construction Field Assistant supports site construction activities by working closely with the Discipline Supervisor. This role serves as the primary technical liaison between subcontractors and the site organization, ensuring that work complies with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor operations within the assigned construction area.
• Monitor execution quality and verify inspection and test results.
• Support progress control, daily field supervision, and monthly progress reporting.
• Validate inspection and test documentation and track work quantities.
• Ensure construction activities align with the Quality Control Plan and project schedule.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in site construction support or supervision assistance.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractor works and support inspections, tests, and certification reviews.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, standards, and Quality Control Plans.
• Experience preparing monthly progress reports and comparing planned versus actual progress.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience in industrial, EPC or EPCM projects is an advantage.
