Construction HSE Training Coordinator

About the role

The Construction HSE Training Coordinator will support all project sites by developing, coordinating and delivering HSE training activities. The role ensures training aligns with contractor standards, local legislation and client requirements while promoting a strong HSE culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project HSE Training Matrix, covering mandatory and optional courses for each job group and risk activity.
• Prepare and deliver HSE training materials, schedules and plans, and coordinate site trainers.
• Coach site HSE trainers to deliver inductions for contractors and subcontractors.
• Verify and maintain accurate HSE training registers, attendance records and competency test results.
• Monitor training performance, KPIs and compliance, and report results to Site HSE Managers and the Home Office.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction HSE with a focus on training and competency development.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, construction risks and site safety practices.
• Proven ability to develop and manage HSE training matrices and coach site‑based trainers.
• Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
• Fluency in French (mandatory) and English (highly appreciated).
