Cross-Border Supervisor

About the role

Wave is looking for a Cross‑Border Supervisor to lead a team of distributors who promote its money‑transfer solution across several West African countries. You will ensure the team has the resources, knowledge and motivation to drive user acquisition and transaction volume.

Key responsibilities

• Equip distributors with deep knowledge of Wave’s cross‑border fees, cashback, corridors and limits.
• Build and coach a high‑performing team of 10‑15 distributors who embody Wave’s values.
• Own cross‑border user acquisition and transfer volume targets for the assigned region.
• Collaborate with the Cross‑Border Regional Lead to plan and execute activities.
• Partner with Marketing to run BTL campaigns and community meetings.
• Recruit, monitor performance and provide continuous coaching to maintain distributor quality.
• Increase monthly active cross‑border users while keeping sender retention stable.
• Design strategies for diaspora, migrant workers, traders and families receiving money from abroad.

Required profile

• 2+ years managing a medium to large cross‑border distribution team.
• Fluent in French and Dioula; Mooré a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (Google Sheets).
• At least a BTS degree.
• Proven track record of meeting ambitious KPIs.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work irregular hours.
• Strong collaboration, communication and negotiation skills.
