About the role
The Data Analyst – Mining Technical Services supports the Technical Services department by collecting, structuring, and analysing operational data to enhance decision‑making and performance monitoring. The role focuses on building reliable datasets and Power BI reporting while ensuring data consistency with enterprise standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources (Excel, field data, operational systems) and ensure data quality.
- Design, maintain, and transform data models using Power Query and Excel for scalable analytics.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for performance, KPIs, and operational tracking.
- Apply data quality checks, align with data governance standards, and document naming conventions.
- Collaborate with Technical Services teams to translate operational needs into data solutions and act as a liaison with the Data & Insights function.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
- 2‑3 years of relevant experience.
- Exposure to geoscience or mining domains is highly desirable.

- Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboard design)
- Advanced Excel and Power Query
- Data modelling concepts (tables, relationships, measures)
- SQL
- Snowflake (plus)
