Depot Manager – EV Operations

About the role

You will lead the depot that keeps Côte d’Ivoire’s all‑electric fleet moving. This hands‑on site‑leadership position involves preparing vehicles, managing charging, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring smooth daily operations for a fast‑scaling EV ride‑hailing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and maintain depot staffing levels, working with recruitment to keep the site fully staffed.
• Onboard, train, and develop depot team members, assigning clear roles and monitoring performance against KPIs.
• Manage vehicle intake, readiness, handover to drivers, and timely deployment to the market.
• Run charging operations to keep vehicles charged, ready, and turned around efficiently.
• Track vehicle status (idle, in service, under repair, held by authorities) and expedite returns to service.
• Prepare and manage the depot budget, cash flow, advances, reimbursements, and expense settlements.
• Implement and enforce company processes, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement in compliance and safety.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a depot or similar operations team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
• Financial discipline to handle budgeting, cash flow, and expense control.
• Excellent communication and people‑management abilities.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and high operational standards.
