Deputy Social Performance Manager

About the role

The Deputy Social Performance Manager supports the Social Performance department in delivering community relations strategies and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Reporting to the Social Performance Manager, the role also represents the company at mining development committees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve community relations management systems and implement sustainability goals.
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies, deliver community development programs, and build partnerships with local stakeholders.
• Supervise survey data analysis, manage grievance reports, and lead conflict resolution processes.
• Ensure compliance with Ivorian laws, mining codes, and the company’s social license to operate.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in community relations or social performance, preferably in African mining.
• Strong knowledge of Ivorian legislation, French and English languages.
• University degree (BAC+5) in Rural Sociology, Geology, Agronomy, Project Management or equivalent.
