Drilling Solutions Engineer

About the role

The Drilling Solutions Engineer provides engineering and technical support to NOV ReedHycalog sales, operations, and product line engineering teams. The role focuses on expanding oil & gas drilling knowledge, especially in drill‑bit technology, and delivering effective drilling solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, demonstrate, and maintain core technical competencies for career progression.
• Complete all assigned training programs covering product knowledge, safety, and professional development.
• Provide drill‑bit run analysis and technical assistance as required.
• Prepare and deliver technical sales support materials and presentations.
• Generate and interpret TerraScope outputs to support operational and sales activities.
• Offer database support, data management, and technical analysis.
• Support field operations through troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver effective drilling solutions and customer support.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel based on business and operational needs.
• Availability for non‑standard work schedules, including 24/7 support for rig operations.
• Compliance with global and local Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies.
• Professional and ethical conduct consistent with NOV corporate values.
