Facilities Manager (Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire)

About the role

Manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance across medium to large sized sites. Provide support to Client Managers on repairs and investment plans while communicating fluently in English and French.

Key responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision, training, and development for employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Oversee recruiting and hiring of new staff.
• Schedule and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, and assign tasks.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare and manage capital projects and operating budgets.
• Approve vendor relationships and invoicing procedures.
• Review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor.

Required profile

• Engineering bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in Facility Management.
• Facility Management certification (preferred).
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Leadership skills to motivate team quality and efficiency.
