Finance Manager – Ivory Coast

About the role

OBT is seeking a Finance Manager to be permanently based in Ivory Coast. You will lead the company’s financial operations across its international shipping and logistics business, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls, and strategic support for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, delivering performance insights.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury activities and foreign‑exchange exposure.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or OHADA), tax regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and regulators.
• Provide financial analysis to operational and commercial teams to improve profitability.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes and reporting systems.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in logistics, shipping or multi‑entity international businesses.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent working abilities.
• Leadership experience with a track record of supervising and mentoring finance staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS or OHADA accounting standards.
• Experience with multi‑currency and cross‑border financial operations.
• Understanding of tax, compliance and audit processes in an international context.
