Financial Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Assistant to support our finance team in driving accurate planning, reporting and compliance. The role will work closely with senior management to provide insights that guide strategic decisions and ensure the integrity of our financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports and disclosures in line with US GAAP/IFRS.
• Provide regular financial insights and performance metrics to senior management.
• Manage tax planning, compliance and reporting, including VAT and corporation tax.
• Coordinate external audits and address audit findings.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital, optimizing cash management.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems to improve reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting and audit management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Familiarity with tax regulations such as VAT and corporation tax.
