Financial Controller

About the role

ASBIS Middle East is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function in Côte d'Ivoire. You will ensure financial integrity, statutory compliance, and provide strategic financial support to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations in line with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Process invoices, expenses, payroll, VAT and other tax reporting accurately and on time.
• Maintain accounting processes compliant with statutory requirements, IFRS and internal standards.
• Prepare monthly management reports and annual financial statements, coordinating audits.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships and financing activities to ensure liquidity.
• Oversee credit management, collections and financial risk control.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Drive process improvements, cost optimisation and financial governance across the organisation.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance and accounting processes.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in commercial or production‑oriented environments is an advantage.
