Food Services Manager

About the role

The Food Services Manager is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships by providing technical expertise and support to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth. The role also involves managing customer projects and resolving technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the division’s strategy within the assigned area and support onboarding of new employees.
• Foster teamwork and a collaborative working environment.
• Advise customers on product‑ and production‑related issues and prepare production instructions and blending recommendations.
• Develop technical action recommendations after analysing customer issues, in close cooperation with the customer.
• Handle technical issues related to B2C product production at customer sites, including microbiological support, use of proprietary culture media, step‑by‑step process controls, process simplification and quality assurance.
• Manage complaints related to B2C production in collaboration with the Quality Department.
• Document effective processes in the internal information system and deliver internal and external technical training together with Sales and CAM teams.
• Provide scale‑up support in cooperation with the manufacturing plant’s production team.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, HACCP, food safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection regulations.
• Plan human, material and financial resources and monitor budget adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Several years of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a technical or commercial position.
