Garde d’enfants (H/F)

About the role

MG Home Service, an international leader in personal‑service, is looking for a dedicated childcare professional to work in the homes of its clients in Abidjan. The role involves providing attentive, age‑appropriate care for children while respecting each family’s schedule and routines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily care activities such as toileting, dressing, and nap supervision in line with the child’s rhythm.
• Support the child’s development of autonomy and basic life skills.
• Monitor the child’s general health and report any concerns.
• Organise educational and playful activities suitable for the child’s age.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including tidying toys and equipment.
• Prepare and serve meals according to the family’s guidelines.
• Document daily observations and communicate essential information to parents and the sector manager.

Required profile

• CAP or BEP qualification in a health, social or educational field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience with young children, in childcare, social‑health, or preschool settings.
• Discretion, integrity and a respectful attitude toward families.
• Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism and pedagogical awareness.
• Good observation, anticipation and communication skills.
• Neat appearance and proper personal hygiene.
• Fluent French language proficiency.
