Group Marketing Director

About the role

Lapaire is a fast‑growing pan‑African optical retail group seeking a Group Marketing Director to shape and execute its global brand strategy. Reporting to the CEO and leading a multicultural team, you will ensure that every marketing initiative across Africa is high‑performing, coherent, and deeply connected to customers’ needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a unified brand strategy across all operational countries.
• Own and continuously update the Brand Book, guaranteeing consistent visual identity and tone of voice while allowing local adaptations.
• Supervise large‑scale creative projects, including brand films, TVCs, radio spots, and OOH campaigns, and approve final creative direction.
• Translate high‑level growth targets into data‑driven marketing plans, set annual budgets, and allocate resources between brand, digital, and retail activities.
• Design key performance indicators, monitor results, and lead quarterly business reviews with Country Managers.
• Lead the Retail Marketing Manager and Brand & Digital Manager, fostering entrepreneurial ideas and initiatives.
• Contribute to the expansion of Lapaire by organizing work efficiently and anticipating market needs.
