Head of Learning, Cultural Development & Engagement

About the role

The Head of Learning, Cultural Development & Engagement will design and manage comprehensive learning, culture and employee engagement programmes across all functions. This senior position is essential for fostering a continuous‑learning environment and strengthening organisational values to support GSM's market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic Learning & Development strategy aligned with business goals, including onboarding, soft‑skill, functional, and leadership programmes.
• Organise and deliver in‑person, virtual and on‑the‑job training; manage LMS and digital tools; monitor effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
• Plan, budget and implement corporate culture initiatives that promote core values and a positive work environment.
• Design employee‑engagement initiatives to improve productivity, retention and overall experience, measuring outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Build and lead a team of internal trainers or external facilitators and manage the department budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Organizational Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Culture or Employee Engagement, preferably at a managerial level.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with modern learning tools and LMS platforms.
• Knowledge of blended learning approaches.
