Head of Technology Operations

About the role

As a Head of Technology Operations, you will lead and manage all technology operations for GSM in the Ivory Coast, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies, overseeing IT Support, Technical Operations and Product Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the TechOps team (IT Support, Technical Support, Product Operations), define KPIs, recruit and develop talent, and control budgets and vendor relationships.
• Ensure operational excellence by overseeing incident resolution, maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and monitoring SLA compliance.
• Drive product rollout, UAT and market adoption, align backlogs with product and engineering, and guide feature localization.
• Plan and execute TechOps projects, manage the technology operations budget, negotiate vendor contracts and report project status to stakeholders.
• Collect and analyse operational and market data, produce performance reports and use insights to improve systems and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in IT operations or technology management, with a proven track record leading cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing large‑scale infrastructure, digital platforms and familiarity with ride‑hailing or mobility technology (a plus).
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High adaptability to fast‑paced environments and commitment to sustainability and innovation.
