Health & Safety Associate – Corporate Services

About the role

The Associate, Corporate Services supports the Bank’s health and safety programmes, providing advice and practical support to reduce risk as far as reasonably practicable. The role contributes to governance, training, incident management, risk assessment, reporting and supports business continuity and emergency response arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Bank’s Health & Safety policy, procedures and guidance, and track audit non‑conformances.
• Assess office, travel and project site risks, propose proportionate mitigations and escalate higher‑risk issues.
• Coordinate incident reporting and investigations, and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Deliver or facilitate health & safety training and awareness activities.
• Manage allocated health & safety projects and programmes, providing advice across departments.
• Support real‑estate project delivery, ensuring safe, timely and compliant outcomes.

Required profile

• Relevant health & safety qualification or demonstrable competence in occupational health & safety practice.
• Experience supporting health & safety risk assessment, incident reporting and investigation.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French language desirable.
• Experience delivering H&S programmes in facilities management, construction or similar environments.
• Ability to work flexibly, including outside normal hours when required.
