About the role
ELITE INTERIME CI is seeking experienced heavy‑truck drivers to operate large vehicles for a client in Côte d'Ivoire. The role involves transporting goods safely across Abidjan and inland routes while adhering to local traffic regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive heavy‑weight trucks on assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery of cargo.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the road network in Abidjan and throughout the country.
- Follow defensive driving practices and comply with the national code of the road.
- Use GPS navigation systems to plan and adjust routes as needed.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any issues to the fleet manager.
Required profile
- Confirmed experience in operating heavy‑weight vehicles (1‑5 years).
- Valid driver’s licence for heavy trucks.
- Ability to read and write in French.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality and caution while driving.
