HR Manager – Cashew (Côte d'Ivoire)

About the role

We are looking for an HR Manager – Cashew to act as the strategic and operational HR partner for our cashew business in Côte d'Ivoire. The role will drive people strategies, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations and compliance across processing plants and commercial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to business leaders on all people‑related matters and support workforce planning aligned with business objectives.
• Lead recruitment and workforce planning to ensure timely hiring for operational, technical and managerial positions.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary procedures, investigations, grievance handling and promote employee wellbeing.
• Support compensation and benefits processes, including salary benchmarking, merit increases and payroll accuracy.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and compliance with Côte d'Ivoire labour laws and collective agreements.
• Monitor HR metrics, produce reports and use data to drive workforce optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related field; Master’s or professional HR certification preferred.
• 8–12 years progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in an HR leadership or Business Partner role.
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food processing or FMCG environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and local labour law matters.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
