ICT Officer

About the role

Fairtrade Africa is seeking an ICT Officer to provide first- and second‑line support across its regional offices in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. The role involves assisting executive management, maintaining Microsoft 365 services, and ensuring the reliability of servers, networks and security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver telephone, service‑desk and on‑site support, logging and resolving incidents, and escalating high‑impact issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 applications, Entra ID, Active Directory and Intune, including device enrollment and compliance.
• Maintain Windows 11 PCs, mobile devices, Windows Server 2019/2022 and Ubuntu/Debian Linux servers, performing patching, backups and health checks.
• Support LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN services and FortiGate firewalls, handling security events and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage ICT assets, coordinate vendors, and prepare service reports on incidents, compliance and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of progressive ICT support experience in a multi‑site environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) and FortiGate firewalls.
• Strong diagnostic, communication and documentation skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
