Inspection, Quality Control & Safety & Security Director

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the Inspection, Quality Control, Safety & Security Division for our operations in Côte d'Ivoire. The director will shape compliance strategy, strengthen governance, and build high‑performing teams to ensure operational excellence across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement company‑wide compliance strategies and solutions.
• Design the division’s organizational structure, headcount plans, and managerial capability.
• Lead employee engagement, performance programs, and division‑wide execution.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and analysis of operational KPIs.
• Implement technology solutions and optimise systems, processes, and regulations.
• Oversee inspection, quality control, safety, and fraud‑control activities globally.
• Coordinate with Legal to keep compliance frameworks up to date.
• Lead development of fraud‑risk identification systems and conduct post‑inspection reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (HR, Law, Security/Police preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in inspection/control, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in strategy, organisation, and performance management.
• Experience in transportation services is a plus.
• Visionary, strategic mindset with the ability to inspire teams.
• Ability to work under high pressure, solution‑oriented and service‑minded.
• Deep knowledge of risk management and internal control.
• Excellent communication, planning and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant tools.
