Junior Marketing Manager - Home Care (West Africa)

About the role

MANE, a French family-owned business in flavor and fragrance, is looking for a strategic, growth-oriented Junior Marketing Manager in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The role takes end-to-end ownership of the B2B marketing and consumer insights function for the Home Care category (Fabric Care, Air Care, Surface Care) across West Africa, and acts as the Global SSA Home Care Strategy & Commercial Assets Captain.

Key responsibilities

• Help set the marketing and consumer insights budget for West Africa and support the sales budget target
• Work with Sales, Fragrance Development and Technical teams to design data-backed product presentations and proactive pitches for key regional accounts
• Analyze market indicators and macroeconomic trends, run gap analyses and recommend new product concepts to Sales
• Organize client workshops, scent masterclasses and product exhibitions, and manage local communication plans
• Lead quantitative and qualitative consumer research projects, from questionnaire design and fieldwork monitoring to data analysis and insight reporting
• Pilot new consumer testing methodologies and sensory approaches with global research networks
• Coordinate the Home Care and Fabric Care categories across SSA hubs, cascade category toolkits and technical data from European HQ, and oversee regional product audits
• Manage the annual communication plan from EMEA headquarters and contribute to performance, ethics and CSR activities

Required profile

• Marketing management qualification
• At least 5 years in a marketing position with exposure to market research, innovation and new product development
• Experience managing consumer insights studies and tools such as Euromonitor, Mintel and Nielsen data
• Business tools: sales dashboards and CRM (MAPLE)
• Good English reading and writing, strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willingness to travel across the SSA region and abroad when needed
