Junior Motion Designer

About the role

VEONE is expanding its creative team in Abidjan and is looking for a Junior Motion Designer. The role involves handling video projects from shooting to final edit, ensuring high quality and creative output.

Key responsibilities

• Capture video footage, managing framing, lighting, and sound.
• Create 2D/3D animations, explainer videos, intros, transitions, animated stories, reels, and other motion graphics.
• Develop scenarios, storyboards, and moodboards to guide production.
• Perform video editing, integrate visual effects, transitions, and animated typography.
• Design illustrations and graphic elements for animations.
• Write and format video content, including scripts and key messages.
• Maintain adherence to VEONE’s visual identity and brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on motion‑design trends, tools, and styles.
• Collaborate with marketing, communication, and design teams on various projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC+2 or BAC+3) in graphic design, motion design, visual communication, audiovisual studies, or a related field.
• Personal or academic experience in motion design is appreciated.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant work.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with After Effects (mandatory).
• Experience using Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Optional familiarity with Cinema 4D, Blender, and Figma.
• Understanding of animation principles such as rhythm, fluidity, and composition.
